David & Karen Garrett have a special way of leading people in worship. They have never met a stranger. They seem to captivate audiences with their stories, their humor, and their geniune love for leading people right to the throne of God.



David & Karen are not judgemental or arrogant. They know that God blessed them with a gift, and use it only for Christ.



They write music. They are catchy, fun choruses for any age. You will find yourself humming the song the next morning on the way to work.



David & Karen give 100% of themselves every service. Whether the audience is 1,000 or 10, the energy and worship experience is the same. They find others' talents and plug them into the services.
The Family Circle



David and Karen met in 1966 at Dallas Baptist College and married in 1969.


They traveled in full-time evangelism during the summer months as a family for many years. After teaching for 23 years, Karen recently retired and now they travel together.


God blessed them with 3 girls:


Kalyn & Troy McAlester-reside in Bells, Texas.
Kalyn teaches school and Troy is a pharmacist for Sam's Club.



Kendra & Jeremy Dutschke-reside in Grand
Prairie, Texas. Kendra is a school counselor and Jeremy is on faculty at Dallas Baptist University. They have 3 boys-Preston, Chandler, and Hudson.

Kristi & Michael Davidson-reside at Fort Hood,
Texas. Kristi is currently attending school while Michael is attending school and training with the army. They have 2 children-Sarah and Garrett.
